Hi Ari, and a big Aussie thank.you as always for your productions.
Amazed at the great variety of themes and how you constantly make me think or rethink about both serious and less serious stuff.
I will soon approach the biblical three score and ten age. But remain a Very Curious Person.
Recent second dose of Covid and a follow on chest infection from a bug called mycoplasma. So actually out of action and had to be in quarantine for about 4 weeks. Now oddly seem to have bounced back with a lot of renewed vigor.
Like Writer Im will chase up the movie, and did listen to the soundtrack last night.
Also a nice reminder of Goblin, which I particularly enjoyed and am a Bit French Canadian Francophone.
Thanks for the explanation re Saja and the afterlife. Interesting similarities with my cultural Celtic and Scandi heritage and the Sagas etc.
And , maybe I will have to share one of my winter staples for easy to make versatile sustenance. Can be made in industrial size quantity, and is based on a long standing pantry staple in Oz, called Mackenzie's Soup Mix (and Aldi make a similar Aus produced alternative at about half the cost), but you then can add just about anything to it eg my last one had for final add, a mix of dried fruit and South African Biltong which was a hang over from my Covid emergency dried food stores and like 3 - 4 yrs beyond Use By Date, but worked v well and plumped up nicely.
Other thing to send is a link to the Melbourne (Uni) Centre for Asian Studies,
And , if you or others have questions to ask about The Land of OZ, DONT HESITATE.
But replies given as opinion only and within my socialist and certainly left of centre or more viewpoint.
And rerminded of a comment about out door, open roof movie theatres in my home town of Isisford QLD, and there is a little more famous one in the tourist town of Broome in WA, which depending on prevailing wind, ypu may get an overfligfht of large jets.
I've been meaning to watch that movie! Thanks as always for the culture and language lessons! Really like learning Korean slang haha that's a good one!
