The generation who had not experience what had happened during the World War seems to reject the events during that time. Some individuals even say what happened to the Jews under Hitler tyranny had never happened. Sadly, all the survivors from that time had left the world. This is almost the same scenario with the negative comments sparked by depiction of Japanese rule. It's not directly denying that it all had happened in the past but quickly draws attention towards unimportant matter. My birth country had been ruled by Imperial Japan from 1941 to 1945 and had done multiple atrocities to my people at that time. Korea was under the Imperial Japanese rule for 35 years. 35 years. Just imagine what the conquering country had done to subdue Korea at that time. Instead of negative comments, these individuals should acknowledge that certain events had happened and reflect. The actors and actresses that depict certain events were not the ones that committed crimes in the past. Actors/ actresses that that play villains also receive hate comments. People need to learn to be Responsive not Reactive.
